100 Farmers committed Suicide. What YSR of AP is going to do?

In less than 3 weeks of becoming the CM of AP, YSR is facing a serious problem. In last 2 weeks alone 100 farmers committed suicide in various parts of AP. YSR came to power, criticising, Naidu about indifference towards rural farmers. But Naidu, had put a system intact for these kind of issues. No, I am not saying, Naidu is a genius, but by going by the news reports, in Naidu's regime, all the village deaths are documented and sent it to the district & state capital.

The media says, the suicides happened, because, the rainy season is about to start another 2 months, and the farmers, who had enormous debt, needs to go thru one more debt cycle to fund their harvest, which many of them cannot so they committed suicide.

The critics argue from a different perspective. YSR's first few announcements are free electricity to farmers, and a huge fund is created for farmer deaths as compensation to their families. Forced by the lenders, local roudis, poor farmer has to commit suicide to get the compensation for the family, to came out of the debt trap. The critics argue, the sudden rise in the no. of suicidal toll is because of this.

On the contrary, there is another view, that since it is a harvesting season, Banks, who have lend money to all these farmers are pressurising for them to take care of their loans.

Severe drought, no water and lack of support forced the AP farmer to take these kind of measures. The problem is not solved by committing suicide, in fact it becomes more complicated. What will happen to their lands ? Who will take care of their family? What will be the social security for their familes ? What social respect do they gain ?

Whatever be the reason, we lost 100 lives. It's testing time for YSR to prove his statements.Hope Mr. YSR will not come out with a Reincarnation Fund for the farmers in a few months. With no cauvery in hindsight, will this repeat in TN too?
