Populism or Powerful step forward

This article in businessworld gives you the post mortem approach for why Naidu & Krishna failed. Is it their personal failure? Is it their party's failure? These two men give a different meaning to the name "India" in the global map. There may be cynical views raised against them that they both have not ruled their states but their capitals alone respectively. It's true partly. Both Krishna & Naidu are the modern CEO's for their states. By this failure, as i wrote in some of the columns before, Chennai has an advantage to take from. But from an honest perspective, i pity the people in those two states. They lost the governance of good men altogether.

This article also raises a new perspective. Managing Indian states are the most complicated management nightmare. Managing Urban & Rural within same state requires different mindsets & people. Both the abovementioned men have gained a respect by raising their respective cities far ahead. Do we have to look into a different modern model for the modern india, by separating Urban Management & Rural management with different groups of governors? Like in Tokyo, Singapore, will the urban will be managed by a separate representative other than the CM of the state ?

These are the issues we need to look into it as we progress... for now, onething is sure, that this country will be atleast ruled by men who are in their own right, intellectuals. For the first time, in the global level, to my knowledge, i see a country is managed by purely intellectuals and not ordinary politicians.
